Depend on customers' needs, Fahrentec flake ice machine can also be built to food hygienic standard. All water contact areas are built with high quality food standard SUS304 stainless steel and PE plastic.
For those cases which the ice machines are to be operating under extreme heat or corrosive enviroment, we will proactively make specific changes of components capacity or material before production.

Flake Ice
Flake ice is small ice in plat pieces. It is widely used in seafood cooling, meat processing and in a whole range of industrial processes. It gives highest conduction surface area per ton of ice, providing the largest refrigeration capacity than any other ice.
Flake Ice Feature
- Irregularly imbricated ice flakes with thickness around 1.5-2.5mm, approx. 40x40mm.
- The flake ice is thin enough and can be used for string and mixing frozen products directly.
- No sharp edge, less damage with refrigerated materials.
- It fills completely around the contact items and cools rapidly.
- Easy to shatter and re-shape.
